It Can Only Be God

A GodSTOP: the instant we stop dead in our tracks and recognize that God is powerful and HE is at work in our lives! You know, those moments where you are left walking away from someone or something saying “That could only be  God.” How else could that have happened or not happened?

I woke up one morning to the realization that I AM deeply loved by God. I AM valuable & priceless to Him! He created me for so much more than just to get through the daily routines of life. As a woman, wife, mom of four, full-time college student, and employee, it is very easy to get lost in redundant, day to day activities. Sometimes I feel empty, fatigued, and unfulfilled, even though I am completely busy from the time my feet hit the floor until the time my head lays down on the pillow at the end of the evening. How I long for that joy to come in – to feel my soul!  I want to be stirred up and excited for those “GodSTOP” moments.

So, I start my day in conversation with Jesus, on my knees, worshipping and praising the Lord for all the ways He has rescued me! He drew me out of the deepest, darkest, place and allowed His light and love to pour over me like standing under the most magnificent and refreshing waterfall. Oh, what the cleansing of  Jesus can do for our spirit! Psalm 59:16 says, “But as for me, I will sing about your power. Each morning I will sing with  joy about your unfailing love. For you have been my  refuge, a place of safety when I am in distress…”
